  1. wow, great news! I am an irregular fan of your blog from Europe, started following when waiting for my first baby, as you were some months ahead. Now waiting for our second to come at the beginning of November, so probably be visiting more often again! πŸ™‚

  2. Congratulations! I thought I spotted some sea-bands on your wrists a few weeks back… they never left my wrists the whole first trimester and at week #13 on the dot I took them off, exposed my sea-band tan line to the world, and said bye-bye to nausea! I hope your second trimester (and third, of course!) goes so very well. Hugs to your family!

  3. Congratulations!!! How exciting this is….
I hope you have a very healthy and happy pregnancy.

  4. Congrats to the new addition to the family.
My name is Kim and I live in Namibia, small country neighbouring South Africa, Africa. Yep, and I stumbled apon your YouTube videos or blog about 2yrs ago while I was in a bit of a down state as we have been trying to conceive for almost four years now. We had 2miscarriages, but your videos always made me smile on my toughest days, and your information and just random topics, well to me, are really interesting and I always make a point of watching your videos – and I enjoy each one.
I also just wanted to ask you, which foods do you recommend while trying to conceive, as I have been on hormone therapy and even tried IUI. Sometimes I wonder if it could be anything to do with my daily nutrition. Is there anything that you have tried that you might think it could have helped?

Well I wish you all the best with your pregnancy still and look forward to your next video.

    XOXO

  43. Blowing a kiss right back atcha Genevieve!! I am so happy for you, Mike and Griffin. Blessings!! and very cute video. Forgive me for speaking about my announcement for a moment…yours reminded me of our announcement to our family: Christmas 2005.: “we have one last present for you. It’s homemade, it’s not ready yet and you’ll all need to share.” (any more teasers and one family member would have guessed and blurted it out). Super fun and exciting way to share the joy! It is hard to keep it in, isn’t it? Again, thrilled for you all. and you are right…it is really fun. πŸ˜‰

    • That’s an awesome way to announce! Thanks so much Joan. XO

  44. Yay!!! That’s so exciting… and I’m actually pregnant for the first time, due late October. It was an answer to a long-time prayer for my husband and me, and we are so thankful.
It’s fun for me to be sharing this journey with some of our friends that we know in real life, and some of you that we know through your blogs (you, Mommypotamus, etc.). God bless you through these days/months!

    • WOO HOO! Super congrats to you!!!!! Mommypotamus’s Micah is 2 days younger than Griffin. We’re totally on the same schedule πŸ™‚ XO
