Having A Doula Helped Nicole During Her Natural Hospital Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

On February 5th at around 11 pm I started having regular contractions. I was able to fall asleep for a little while but by 4:00 am I knew it was time to head to the hospital because the contractions got intense and very close together.

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

There really wasn't time to think about much because labor intensified & progressed quickly. Even if I had wanted medication or an epidural, which I did not, there wouldn't have been time for it.
