    I was dreaming about having contractions all night, I woke up with bloody show and knew something exciting was happening!!

    The pain, hahaha

    I took childbirth education classes during each of my pregnancies.

  • What surprised you about your birth?

    How long it was! Being a fifth baby I was expecting it to be faster, my last birth was only 90 min. This one was 24 hours of contractions with 7 hours of active labor, I was not prepared for that!

  • Educate yourself on what you want and how to best achieve that goal. Surround yourself with positive stories and build a killer support team!
  • What pain relief strategies worked best?

    I used the birth pool for transition and pushing, the warm water helps so much!

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    A semi squat, I delivered her myself so my delivery positions were limited!

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    Great!

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

    Educate yourself on what you want and how to best achieve that goal. Surround yourself with positive stories and build a killer support team!
