Went to yoga classes at 30+ weeks and learned breathing techniques.

What surprised you about your birth?
The effort you have to put in and the incredible toll your body goes through. I expected it to be sore but also that my body would know what to do and it would just happen, but turns out you have to make it happen!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
I only had gas and air, it worked really well for me - similar to being a little drunk.

On my back.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Unbelievable. Like I was in a dream. It real doesn't sink in for quite a while.
