When did you realize you were really in labor?
When I went to the bathroom and was on my way back to bed and realized my husband fell to sleep on the couch. I went grab a blanket and throw it across him. As I was throwing the blanket on him I felt something leaking and I was like OK little baby I thought I was done relieving my self so I went back to the bathroom and wiped again and there it was the mucus and blood together on the tissue. So I tried not to panic. I said maybe that the only thing that would come out because I was only 36 weeks and 5 days I didn't think it was labor yet. But as I walked out the bathroom I felt something still running out of me. So I said to my mom and husband this is it. We having a baby today let's get are stuff together. I have never had my water brake on its own.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
I was very nerves because every labor is different and It was my 5 child and my smallest but she hurt me the worst.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Walking and squats. And keep in mind always that the out come of the situation is a beautiful thing in well worth it.

What surprised you about your birth?
It went very fast. I wasn't expecting her to come so fast.

Just remember that it worth it and you are built for it. The joy you will have afterwards is the best feeling knowing you created such a beautiful thing.

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Just staying calm and finding a focus point and just praying to my higher power.

What position did you end up delivering in?
Laying on my back.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
I loved it but she was so small.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Just remember that it worth it and you are built for it. The joy you will have afterwards is the best feeling knowing you created such a beautiful thing.
