Fathers Day Gift Guide

It’s that time of year again — time to honor the fathers in our lives with a little token of appreciation for all the hard work they do.

But, if you’re anything like me, it can be a challenge to know what to get. My husband Michael is notoriously hard to buy for.

This year, I spent a little time cruising Pinterest in search of some great gift ideas that won’t break the bank (or, in some cases, are free). Here are some of my favorites.

  1. Last year (and this year) we just used stuff we already had. Last year he was given a shirt with “Best Dad Hands Down” on it with our daughter’s hand prints. He LOVES that shirt! This year he’s getting a painting from each of us. We try to give meaningful gifts without breaking the bank. I love that you added inexpensive items to this list. As Financial Peace University grads, my husband and I do our best to stay cheap but still share the love. We did Dave Ramsey’s FPU at our church and it has brought us closer to paying off our house. Now we are planning for kid # 2!

  2. I am giving my husband a remote control airplane from Hobby Town USA, I think he is going to love it!
