The hardest thing was being patient for labor to start on it's own.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Putting together music playlist for birth. Music was so comforting and encouraging!

What surprised you about your birth?
It was FAST and it was also very INTENSE! Baby was 10 pounds, but she was born only 3.5 hours after I woke up!

Don't give up! Be patient! Surround yourself with people who will remind you that you can do it!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Dancing, "moo"ing, getting in the bath, and listening to music

What position did you end up delivering in?
Standing in the bath (was sitting in bath when I birthed the placenta.)

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Surreal! The birth was so fast that it was really hard to believe she was out! But a big relief too!

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Don't give up! Be patient! Surround yourself with people who will remind you that you can do it!
