When did you realize you were really in labor?
I had been having irregular contractions for 3 days and finally they began ramping up.l, getting closer together and more regular.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The most challenging part was of course transition, the lack of rest made pain management sound great in my irrational state!

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
The most helpful thing was watching the videos from Mama Natural. It allowed me to understand the process and know where we were at in labor. Things were getting really hard and intense during transition but once our midwife said sweetie you are in transition i understood and was able to calm down.

What surprised you about your birth?
After having one birth in the hospital with all kinds of interventions, natural was actually easier in the end. There was truly less pain than pushing for no reason for hours and the recovery was much easier also.
