When did you realize you were really in labor?
10:30 am I started feeling crampy.. I'm always indecisive about whether or not it's true labor because I have labor signs starting a couple weeks before birth.. I KNEW around 11:30 that I was for sure in labor!

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The most challenging thing is probably not having ultrasounds... Not second guessing God and my body's abilities.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Buying a Mickey Mouse did for my 2 year old was for sure the most helpful haha

What surprised you about your birth?
It was longer than my previous birth (2.5 hours) and how calm everything was with not having to rush to the hospital.

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Being in the position that felt best to my body was a huge relief for pain.. Also a heating pad and warm wash clothes helped a lot!

What position did you end up delivering in?
Semi squatting on my legs leaning against my husband.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Wonderful! He was finally out haha

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
We were designed to birth- trust that!! (And have some heat and counter pressure ready!)
