When did you realize you were really in labor?
My labor was trying to start on and off for 4 weeks. We went for fetal assessment at 41.1 to see how the baby is doing and saw that there was no amniotic fluid in the sac,
I was sent to get induced, by that time my contractions were there, but not regular. Once I got hooked up to a monitor we started seeing baby getting in distress from each contraction, that's when I was offered an elective c-section, before we had a chance to make our final decision baby was getting in more distress and heart rate started dropping further. That's when I was rushed to an emergency C section. This is my second emergency C . I had a midwife with both pregnancies and wanted desperately to have a natural birth, but life had a different plan for us. We now have 2 beautiful healthy children. And I am healing from the second c section.
