When did you realize you were really in labor?
Well despite my natural wishes, I ended up being induced early. My baby had almost completely stopped growing at 38 weeks.
-
What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The most challenging about labor was adjusting my natural birth plan to accommodate what was actually happening. I had agreed to the pitocin and I had it set in my mind that was going to be the only intervention I would take. Pitocin contractions are so much harder than regular contractions and I couldn't take it so I opted for an epidural and felt like I was giving up everything important to me about birth.
