When did you realize you were really in labor?
I had to be induced due to some complications. So I was given meds and the doctor broke my water.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
As I had planned a natural birth... Getting the nurses on board was the most difficult. My other 2 births were so easy.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Definitely my support team. Mentally telling myself I could was helpful too.

What surprised you about your birth?
The many complications. As my other 2 births happened with no issues...

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Meditation, breathing and talking through it.

What position did you end up delivering in?
Unfortunately, a c-section. But my life and my child's was saved because of this.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Like I had just been given the greatest gift ever.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
LISTEN to your body! You are the ONLY one who knows what's going on!
