  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

    When I was in the bed at 3:00am

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

    It wasn't that challenging for me. This was my third birth and third natural birth as well with that being said during this birth everything happened within a hours time. It was so fast I really didn't have time for it to be a challenging birth.

  • What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?

    For me the only thing that was helpful was the fact that I had my bag and the diaper bag packed for when I went into labor.

  • What surprised you about your birth?

    The fact that I had him at home and within a hour. I went into labor a 3:00am and had him at 3:53am.

  • Don't give up it is very painful but if you have it set in your mind that you want to go natural do it and don't let anyone veer you off from what you choose to do. Also make sure to have that one person to be there with you for support and the biggest thing is have God with you through all of it.
  • What pain relief strategies worked best?

    Praying to God while I was have a contraction.

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    In doggie style
    On my knees bent over the tub

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    It felt amazing just like I felt when I held my first two children for the first time.

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

    Don't give up it is very painful but if you have it set in your mind that you want to go natural do it and don't let anyone veer you off from what you choose to do. Also make sure to have that one person to be there with you for support and the biggest thing is have God with you through all of it.
