Taking a Child Birthing Class with Her Husband Helped Kari During Her Birth Center Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

    I realized I was in labor when the pain got more intense and there was more of rhythm to the contractions.

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

    I have delivered both of my children naturally. For both births, the most challenging thing was the aftermath, specifically stitches for an episiotomy during one birth and tearing for the other one.

    Taking a child birthing class with my husband. If it was not for him, and the knowledge he gained, the process would have been much more difficult.
