When contractions were coming regularly and becoming more intense to where I really had to focus on breathing through them!

Lots of research on all things natural birth!

What surprised you about your birth?
How hard it was to push her out! I have had a home birth before and it was super easy and this time it took me a while to push my baby out and it was super painful!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Focusing on my breathing and sitting on the toilet!

What position did you end up delivering in?
Laying on my bed in an upright position! I was determined that is where I wanted to have her and I wish I had stayed on the toilet!

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Amazing! I had prodromal labor for weeks before she finally came so it was a huge relief to bot be pregnant anymore and to have that sweet baby in my arms!

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Research! Do lots of research! On techniques and positions and everything related to natural birth!
