Hypnobirthing Classses and Learning to Breathe in Calming Ways Helped Michele During Her C-Section Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

I had a few Braxton Hicks contractions a few weeks before my due date but was praying not to go into labor before my scheduled C-section. Baby girl was breeched and I had been trying all the tricks to get her to turn, including an ECV, which my midwife and Dr had a pretty high success rate in. But, she wouldn't budge. After all the flipping and moving she'd been doing, for her to not turn after all that, I needed to trust that she had her reasons for staying put, so we booked a c-section 3 days before my due date and prayed she didn't try to come before then.
