  • Just keep your eyes on the prize. All the pain, hemorrhoids and incontinence are worth it!
  • What pain relief strategies worked best?

Breathing and when you're finally allowed pushing!

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    On my back

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    Amazing and a little scary

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

Be prepared that the pain is no joke. I really was surprised. I thought I was tough, I was not prepared. I minimized it in my head- that was a mistake. Also I wished I had more people there to share it and distract me. My husband ran late and I was alone until the close to the end. That was hard. Should have had my mom and sister there too. Would have helped to share it. Turned out ok and my son was perfect. Just keep your eyes on the prize. All the pain, hemorrhoids and incontinence are worth it! :) He's four now and I wouldn't give him up for anything. XO
