    When I didn't get any breaks in my contractions.

    The pain but I had a precipitous labor which was a blessing & a curse at the same time.

    Reading.

  • What surprised you about your birth?

    I was dead set on having an epidural but after a failed first try of receiving an epidural & by the time I was getting a second epidural, it was too late, the baby was crowing & I had him naturally without any pain relief.

  • I felt that I was holding the strongest person in the world since he was born premature.
  • What pain relief strategies worked best?

    Praying it would be over.

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    On my back but I delivered him myself with the help of my doctor. I reached down & grabbed him myself and put him on my belly.

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    Wonderful, I felt that I was holding the strongest person in the world since he was born premature.

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

    That it's possible and you can do it! If I could do it so can you. The pain is temporary and as soon as the baby is born, you'll instantly be pain free.
