    When I found myself closing my eyes and having to focus during the "Braxton Hicks" I thought I was having.

    My water didn't break until I started pushing, and it broke during a contraction! Talk about explosive!

  • Stay at home until labor is well established and tell your nurses up front that you plan to go natural. My nurse was great and suggested position changes, the tub, and some breathing exercises.
  • What pain relief strategies worked best?

    The birthing tub helped me transition. The birthing ball helped some before things got too serious.

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    In bed, sitting upright

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    I was so exhausted, and almost in disbelief that she was finally here!

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
