  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

    My water broke and I went straight ito active labor

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

    Most challenging was the fear of not being able to do it. I knew my body was made to give birth, but as a first time mom, deep down I was afraid of not being able to handle the pain. Now I know o can definitely give natural birth and our bodies are made to handle that pain.

  • What surprised you about your birth?

    How fast it happened and how your body pretty much does what it needs to do, all I had to do was work with my body not against it.

  • You can do it. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't, or that you can't handle the pain. A women's body was made to give birth. And remember to work with your body, not against it.
  • What pain relief strategies worked best?

    Water. Best relief when I got into that tub.

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    Squat/pelvic rock position

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    Amazing!

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

    You can do it. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't, or that you can't handle the pain. A women's body was made to give birth. And remember to work with your body, not against it.
