What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?

-
Do not let anyone convince you that you cannot do this.
-
What pain relief strategies worked best?
Having someone put pressure or massage my lower back during contractions.
-
What position did you end up delivering in?
In a genuflecting kneel (one leg kneeled and the other on the floor).

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
An overwhelming sense of joy, gratitude and relief.
-
What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Do not let anyone convince you that you cannot do this. And even if you attempted a natural birth once already and it did not go as planned, I am a living testament that even after a traumatizing first birth, I've gone on to have 2 redemptive births afterwards. NEVER LOOSE HOPE!
