When did you realize you were really in labor?
Around 730p. The uncomfortable nature I had been in all day with Logan of cramps turned into back pain and felt my abdomen tightening more.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
Transition. Thankfully it's the shortest part. I didn't know I was in transition though because we had just gotten to hospital and was still getting checked into the unit. I kept thinking lord have mercy this better be transition because it's so constant and intense I won't make it 12 hrs with this. Thankfully when I asked if I could be checked again I was complete and ready to push

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Listen to the Christian birth affirmations, rebozo sifting nightly with hubby, yoga twice a week and eating dates last four weeks.

What surprised you about your birth?
Sooooo much easier and quicker than my first.

You can totally do it. And you will feel like a total boss after. But if you need pain medication it's ok!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Yoga breathing and listening to music. I used my yoga ball at home before my water broke.

What position did you end up delivering in?
On my back with legs pulled back. Semi reclined.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Amazing. Much more euphoric than my first. I hemorrhaged with my daughter so I was out of it but this time I got Ron pull him out and talk to him. Thank the Lord.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
You can totally do it. And you will feel like a total boss after. But if you need pain medication it's ok!
