What surprised you about your birth?
My unassisted home birth 2VBAC was less than 2 hours from my water breaking to delivery.

Make sure you are where you feel most comfortable. If you don't feel peaceful at the hospital, go to a birth center. If the birth center doesn't feel right, try your bedroom.

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Moving was awesome, staying on all fours in water gave me a little space to labor in.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Indescribable.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Make sure you are where you feel most comfortable. If you don't feel peaceful at the hospital, go to a birth center. If the birth center doesn't feel right, try your bedroom. No matter where you plan to birth, GRAB AN EXPERIENCED DOULA!!!
