Being a Labor and Delivery Nurse Helped Kelly During Her Hospital Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

I was contracting at home for a couple of hours, my husband finally talked me into going to the hospital. Good thing because I was almost 6 cm when I got there!

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

Waiting around for labor to start. I would start contracting and then they would go away, that went on for almost 2 weeks. That is why it took me so long to realize I was actually in labor!
