Noelle Accepts Her Hospital Birth Experience with Love

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

My water had been slowly leaking for a full day. I called my doctor's office and he sent us straight to the hospital to have the fluid tested to make sure it was in fact amniotic fluid. I was then induced.

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

I had to kick off my labor with pitocin. I labored for 12 hours feeling every contraction. I breathed through each one with the help of my husband and close family friend who is a midwife. The support got me through.
