When did you realize you were really in labor?
Once my water broke. I was induced with pitocin and my contractions weren't really doing much until then (I was sleeping through them) but once my water broke my contraction kicked into full gear!

The intensity of my contractions was so much greater than I expected.

Took care of my body, read positive natural birth stories & drank red raspberry leaf tea.

What surprised you about your birth?
How fast it was! I was holding my baby 3 hours after my water broke!!

2-Surrender yourself to your contractions, don't fight them. 3-Breathe!

Squatting was my favorite and seemed to give me the most relief.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
It was such a relief that the hard work of labor was over! The instant love and connection was overwhelming!

1-Trust your body, it know what to do. 2-Surrender yourself to your contractions, don't fight them. 3-Breathe!
