When did you realize you were really in labor?
At my 42 weeks appointment. I was 7cm and 100% and having regular contractions that I couldn’t feel.
-
What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
That I was past my due date. There was a lot of pressure to induce.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
It helped that this was my second birth. I made a lot of rookie mistakes the first time so I learned a lot from that and found resources such as mama natural to educate myself.
-
What surprised you about your birth?
How fast and easy it was! Yes there were times when I thought I wanted to block the pain but I am strong and I kept reminding myself of that during every contraction and before I knew it, I was holding my baby... my 10 pound 2 ounce baby!
