    My water broke at 7:55pm while I was at Sams Club buying coconut water

    How quick it was. My water broke at 7:55.
    My first contraction was at 8:56. My baby was born at 10:51, 11 minutes after my midwife got there. She lives 2 hours away from me.

    Being mindful of my breathing and not holding on to tension, letting it all go.

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    On all fours with my right leg up.

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    Healing! Very healing! (Her birth was very healing to me after 2 very traumatic hospital births)

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

    You CAN do it! It's what your body was created for!
