When did you realize you were really in labor?
Woke up around 11:23 after a single intense contraction. After 3 contractions, I knew I was in labor.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
It all happened so fast, and I found it challenging to stay in control and be present in the moment.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Yoga and prayer! Hip opening stretches and using my ujjayi breath with contractions. As I was ready to push, I asked God to give me strength.

What surprised you about your birth?
How quickly it happened and that I was able to be aware of everything as it was happening. 2 hours and 39 minutes from the first contraction to delivery!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Being in the water birthing tub.

What position did you end up delivering in?
I started out on all fours and delivered his head. I had to roll over because my midwife had to assist with the shoulder. He was a big baby.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Relief! Bliss!
