When did you realize you were really in labor?
I was sure my water had broke but it wound up being a very bloody, bloody show that started painful contractions about 2 minutes apart.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
I went in at 4cm and contractions 2 minutes apart and was sent home. I think the hardest part was not being sure if I would make it back to the hospital. An hour later at home I felt the incredible urge to push and could feel my baby's head.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Talking about it I was very determined to go all natural and I made my wishes well known to those close to me which helped me really want to stick with it!

What surprised you about your birth?
How quick it was! My labor from start to finish was 3 hours and 46 minutes. Only 15 minutes of pushing and he was in my arms!

Breathing through the contraction and imagining everyone bringing me closer to my baby! Also focusing on my husband and knowing he was supporting me 100%!

Sitting up in the hospital bad legs pulled back, way back.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Incredible, surreal and something I will NEVER forget.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
You really can do it! Just stick with it and don't give up or doubt yourself. Surround yourself with encouragers!
