    • That’s so crazy- that’s exactly why I named my son Kaison- so he could go by Kai as a adult if he wanted and I spelled it KaiSon because I am Scandinavian and Kai is a nave of Scandinavian origin! And my son was born in 2005! Crazy

  3. I wanted a K name I hadn’t already met and my partner and I both loved it.
Don’t like that we’re already correcting people saying ‘Kaizen’ instead of ‘KaiSON’

  4. The sound of Kai just captivates my heart every time I say it or hear it! Inspired by my love for water and the ocean, Kai is fitting. It represents fluidity and flexibility
for me. But I too wanted something fuller to go with the last name. We named our son Kaison in 2018. We now call him kai, kai kai, kaicy. I love this name!!

    • My name is She-Kai and my boyfriend’s name is JA-SON.
The trend of the couple is matching their names Depending on the form. And I was very happy., When I heard from my friends that they gave the name to our couple and that is “KAISON” which means “Son of fighter”., Its not just a name that has something meaningful to say.

  5. My husband always kept a pet name of tyson if we had a son, and since my name starts with K.. And he liked tyson… We improvised… Also Kai was a very cute name but we wanted something more fuller and unique… And so we settled with kaison

    • My first son born September 2019 we named Kaison (pronounced ky-son) we too loved the name Kai but wanted something you could shorten. Also inspired by my husbands late brothers name which is Bryce and our love for the ocean represented by Kai. Our little boys nickname is Kaisea (Ky-see)
