  1. When I first found out I was pregnant and we told my mom she wasn’t happy at all since I am living with her and already have a 10 year old son. She wanted me and my fianc? to be out already on our own which we most definitely should be. But eventually as the baby was growing and my belly getting bigger she adjusted pretty fast. When we were finding out the gender I had already written both girl and boys names down years ago because I always wanted another baby. So my mom came with us to find out because we were doing a gender reveal where our son would hit a baseball since he’s a baseball player and the color powder would come out pink or blue. When we were set for him to smack the ball I got nervous for some reason and next thing you see is blue color powder all over the back yard of my sisters. Of course my fianc? was happy and everyone else was too but they all felt bad bc they knew how bad I wanted a baby girl. In reality as I have my baby boy and my 10 year old son. I am much happier with two boys than ever. So my fianc? and son went down the list of names that I had written and all three of us came to the conclusion of Blaze. We named our baby boy Blaze. I was set to be due October 4th but my water broke on August 9th at 5:45 AM and I knew I had to go to the hospital. I was so scared because I knew it was too early to deliver. We get there and I had no fluid to protect Blaze at all so they wanted to keep me there in bed rest for 2 weeks until I went to my ultrasound appointment that I ironically had and thankfully had for the length because after my ultrasound was done they told me I had to call my fianc? back and tell him to hurry up we had to do an emergency C-Section. The baby wasn’t growing and he was breach. They had a scheduled C-Secrion with a woman having twins and bumped her appointment to put me ahead. He came I was already in the room waiting on him, and not ever ever ever thinking or expecting I would have a Emergency C-Section that same day. My baby boy was born 8/9/19 at 2lbs. I didn’t get to see him for that whole day, because he was being wiped down and getting oxygen cause he wasn’t breathing on his own the first few seconds of life. The middle of the morning around 3:45AM I was finally allowed to see my baby. Never expecting to see what I seen. I couldn’t believe how tiny he was. He was in an incubator with a feeding tube and all that scary looking stuff. So tiny he was the size of my hand I couldn’t believe my eyes. I couldn’t stop crying I couldn’t stop thinking I just stared. The next day I got to spend time and hold him for the first time skin to skin. That’s when I knew in my heart Blaze was the most perfect name for him. He came into this world like a blaze of fire ? He was in the NICU for a month and 2 days. He came home at 4lbs. Still extremely small tiny and fragile. I didn’t know how to handle a premature baby. But you would never know Blaze is premature. I’ve said it from day one of my pregnancy and forever I continue to say Blaze is my true hero and trooper. Hes as strong as a solider and a fighter like no other. He’s about to be 4 months old and currently weighs 8lbs. He might be premature and behind on growing but my baby Blaze is a miracle baby and I thank God and all my Angels for being right by my side and Blazes side to continue fighting everyday. He’s the best baby the happiest smiling baby, and is loved so much by so many. His big brother and cousin are amazing with him and so helpful. His big brother adores him and Blaze adores his big brother. My family of 3 is completed with my family of 4. God Blessed me and may God bless you.
