  4. First of all my little was a prayer answered. He is a true miracle for us after 3 losses We came to name our baby while I was 4 months pregnant Husband and I were looking for a Gaelic name because he is Scottish. We chose Atlas Alastair because it has a Greek meaning: keeper of the heavens. We got a word from the Lord that our little son was close to the heart of the Father God so we chose Atlas as his first name. Alastair has it’s roots in Celtic culture and means defender of mankind. We chose this as his middle name. Our son is called to do a mighty work for Jesus and His name will reflect a calling he can fulfill and a life that is blessed and promising!!!

  5. I wanted something that wasn’t in the Bible. And as a single mom, I wanted to choose a name strong name that my son could be proud of. I named him Atlas Harlen. Atlas was the Greek god who held up the world. It also means a collection of maps and it’s a brand of canning jars. He can choose whichever meaning he likes. Harlen means ‘from the land of strength.’
