  4. I love this name I met a guy in Nickelodeon hes funny

    • I just love the fact that Rua knows the different between than, and then. I love languages, and in particular, the English language. This is why I find English so compelling and mysterious. It’s so difficult to learn, yet many, many foreigners learn this language, and learn it well. Sadly, so many Americans fail to master their own language. I often wonder, how that’s possible. Yet, time and again, they prove me wrong, in all honesty, they testify in court that they’re idiots, and can’t learn their own language. Well, if you want to testify under oath, that you’re an idiot, who am I to argue? ?

  5. I love how Drake is a strong name that’s unique, but also easy to spell. I also love that it complements our other son’s name (Miles).

  6. We wanted a strong sounding boy name with ties to nature. We live on a lake and Daddy is a duck hunter. Drake, meaning male duck, seemed like a perfect fit.

  7. With our first we had a hard time finding or agreeing on a name. It was no different with this one. My husband wanted something, well both of us did, that fit with his brothers name which is Griffon. He wanted something that was similar to a mythological creature just as Griffon (Gryffin) is one (lion/eagle). A lot of the other mythological creatures had weird names I wasn’t willing to give my kid. Then he found the name Drake which comes from Draco which means Dragon and we thought that was pretty close to being mythological. I wasn’t sure it’s what I wanted though when he told me. But when our baby was born and my midwives asked what his name was, my husband asked me if I think He looked like a Drake. He did. And so the name stuck. I love the name and it fits my babies personality so well.

I like the name because it’s rare. There’s not many children with that name and that’s what I wanted.

Here’s a quote regarding your post. “I love the name and it fits my babies personality so well.”

How on God’s green Earth, can you screw this up? It’s no wonder the entire world thinks Americans are IDIOTS, thanks to morons like you. Okay, ready for your ENGLISH lesson? “I love the name and it fits my BABY’S personality so well.” You’re welcome!

  8. At first my husband wanted to name our son Kai. I didn’t love the name so I started looking up baby names online. I stumbled across the name Drake which means dragon. My husband is a huge dragon buff and I love fantasy and mythology in general. I suggested it to my hubby and he was instantly in love with the name. I love that it’s unique. I’m glad we didn’t name him Kai, only because both his best friends names are Kai. It’s confusing enough haha. The only thing that drives me nuts is when people ask me if he’s named after the rapper, Drake. That’s not even his real name. It’s Aubrey graham. I think it bugs me because my sons middle names are William and Harry after my great grandfather and my husband’s grandfather. Since my husband is British, we’re always asked if his middle names are for the princes. It drives my husband nuts too. But overall, I love our name choice for our son. He’s seven now and he loves his name too.
