  1. My husband’s name was spelled Ephriam not Ephraim. I believe that his name was spelled incorrectly but that is how it was on his birth certificate. He was named after his Maternal Grandfather and his Maternal Uncle and Cousin were all spelled incorrectly. My husband is deceased so there is nothing I can do about changing it. My husband didn’t like his name and nobody knew his second name until his death. His Uncle and cousin were shortened to Ephie.

  2. My variation is better ?

  3. It’s an old family name from around 5 generations ago. Also a wonderful biblical name.

  4. We love that it’s biblical, unique, and means fruitful. We also felt we recieved confirmation from the Lord that this was too be his name. ?

  5. We wanted a biblical but distinct name and this one fit the bill.

  6. We wanted a name that was unique and that had a biblical meaning.

  7. Ephraim means double fruitfulness. My husband and I waited for 5 years to have children. And now we have 3 children. So we chose the name Ephraim to acknowledge that God is the one who has made us fruitful.
