  2. It’s unique I love it

  3. Hendrix means “ruler of the home”
I like it because it’s not common, unique

  4. Dad and I both agreed we liked it, and it is a very unique name.

  5. Hendrix is my maiden name. I wanted to honor my father who I love dearly and am so proud of- and who had a very hard upbringing. He had an abusive, alcoholic father who died DUI when he was 16 years old, and his family was very poor. He worked 3 jobs every day when me and my brother were growing up to help put my mother through nursing school and provide for us. He went on to play in the NFL and became an extremely successful businessman.
When he was born, his mother was so upset he wasn’t a girl that she did not even give him a middle name. For all of those reasons, I wanted to honor my father by naming my son after him. And in addition to that, I love that it’s unique and such a strong, masculine name. Love my Little Hendrix so much!
