  1. I found this name just off the internet, and my husband and I chose it because it was unique, rare, yet simple and was what we were looking for. We found out later that it is also a Biblical name, and now we love it all the more! I’ve read through the Bible yet I guess the name never stuck and so I had forgotten it was in there. It fits so beautifully with our son and we are so thankful for the origin the meaning and that we found it! It means “exalted one,” or “son of the exalted one,” or I’ve heard some say the meaning is also “noble.”?
