My husband grew up on the classics including the Beatles. I also love it because it’s still somewhat unique. I don’t love that people ask if we were fans of John Lennon’s views on Communism. Reply Emma Dixon Feb 3 at 8:14 am I named my baby boy Lennon in 2003 he’s 20 in March and we still get compliments on it,, he was the only Lennon in his primary and secondary school and my daughter is the only Hallie in her primary school I like that there unique Reply Rochelle Worrall Dec 20 at 1:52 pm I am from New Zealand and I named my son Lennon in 2004.he’s 17 now. I had never heard it before. I didnt find it in any book it just popped into my head at 3 months pregnant that’s what I had to call him. It was like he was telling me his name Reply Mama Aragon Nov 6 at 7:47 pm My husband is a big Beatles fan and always thought that Lennon would be a really cool first name. I loved that the name is pretty uncommon, but I was afraid people would call him Lenny. We get compliments on Lennon’s name everywhere we go. Reply Lennon Feb 8 at 11:41 am It’s funny I’m 13 and my names Lennon too and my granny would always call me Lenny Reply Ashley Aug 25 at 7:08 pm We picked Lennon for our boy because we’re pretty big fans of the Beatles, and we liked that it wasn’t common. Reply Melanie Oct 25 at 12:25 pm We loved the sound of Lennon. Not so common but definitely not unheard of either. Easy to pronounce and spell. I also really like gender neutral names and Lennon definitely has a neutral feel. Reply Share your thoughts on the name Lennon Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
