Share Your Thoughts 7 Comments Abby Sep 15 at 7:18 am I’m not sure why but I’ve just always loved the name Wolfgang and when I saw the movie Amadeus as a teenager I was hooked. Mozart is often called “Wolfie” in the movie and I just loved that. It’s unique and can be changed as he grows…”Wolfie” to a more grown up “Wolf” or even “Wolfgang” if he’d prefer. At the end of the day, it just makes me smile 🙂 Reply Mariah Aug 27 at 12:01 pm I chose Wolfgang because it is a strong, bold, and uncommon name. It’s unconventional just like our family. He was named after Mozart (music is a heavy influence on us). Although I receive a lot of funny looks or criticism about his chosen name, we love it and it fits him perfectly! Reply Lachie Aug 20 at 4:51 am Wolf…Gang Reply Samara Travella Dec 22 at 8:30 am I chose the name Wolfgang because I love Mozart. We do call him Wolfie for short or the Wolfman lol it’s fun. Reply Danielle May 31 at 10:31 am We liked the name Wolfgang because it’s has ties to my European roots and Mozart has been my favorite composer since I was little, but mostly there wasn’t any other name that felt right to us at any point so maybe that was his way of picking his own name! It’s a name I’ve always liked and one day my husband suggested it out of the blue! I’d been planning on suggesting it but was ready to for him to not agree. I’m so glad he suggested it! It’s such a strong name and I know he’s going to do big things! Love our little Wolfie! Reply Share your thoughts on the name Wolfgang Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
