  1. I named my newest Charlee Kathryn Grace, I used Lee to honour a very important man in her life and to make the name look a little more feminine. I get mixed reactions, mostly people assume she’s a he (ya, my girl in all pink, purple stroller and a bow is definitely a he because of a name -insert eye roll-) I wonder how she’ll grow up and if she’ll enjoy her name.

  2. Charlee Rae
I named my Daughter Charlee Rae after the 3 most important men in her life.
    her present grandad “Charlie
    her daddy “Lee
    and her past grandad “Ray
And I love it knowing she has the name off 3 wonderful strong men past and present ?

    • I love this name!! I used Lee to honour my girls dad, it’s his middle name ?
Your meaning behind the name is beautiful!!

    • It’s cool my name is Charlee!

  3. my name is Charlee and i love it people usually call me char. people usually also think I’m a boy when they here my name it kind of funny.

  4. My husband and I are obsessed with the show It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Charlie is our favorite character ?

  5. I loved boy names for girls and her dad’s middle name is Lee so I didnt want to spell charlee like a boy name so I spelled it Charlee and put her dad’s middle name in her first name the only thing I d ok not like some times about her name is that people assume when i say her name is charlee they think she is a boy lol funny boy in pink cloths and a boy around her head but I absolute adore her name

  6. While the meaning of Charles = masculine makes derivatives slightly comical for a girl, we fell in love with the name when we saw “Charles” could be translated as “strong”. Has been a delightful way to honor all the Charles-es on my side of the family. Naturally, everyone assumes she’s a boy, but given the implicit biases in today’s society, that may work in her favor on occasion. Top Gun, anyone?

  7. We chose Charlee Faye for our daughter, dur in august 2019. My husband has always loved the name charlee for a fork, and my grandmothers middle name was Faye.
