  1. Bible name, a hardworking man guided by the Lord. It means God comforts. Our son Nehemiah is a blessing from the Lord because we waited for him about five years, he was born is our 6th wedding anniversary.

  2. I knew my son would always be comforted by God.

  3. I wanted my baby to have a strong biblical name. Although I was quite too happy about having a boy because I had strong hopes of having a girl first. So I searched 2 out of the 17 baby apps that were on my phone and looked up “biblical names for a boy” and there were 2 names that instantly stood out to me (Christian, Isaiah) so I’m kind of panic mode because I gotta name this kid….i was expecting to have a boy or at least believe that I was having a boy. I figured since since my first name starts with an N, his first name will start with an N. So I’m looking through the Bible with my eyes literally closed and when I looked my hands were touching random pages in the book of Nehemiah. I googled the meaning behind this name which means God’s Comfort (Nehemiah);his middle name means Follower of Christ(Christian);God is Salvation(Isaiah). So I put my own twist to part of his middle name, hence the name Isaias which still means God is Salvation and therefore I named my handsome baby boy Nehemiah Christian Isaias Chamberlain.

  4. My son loves his name. He was named after a friend. Nehemiah means “I have been comforted by God” which is sweet because he was our rainbow baby?. It’s a bit long. When he was really little we called him “Neem” and “Neemie”. Now that he’s almost 5 we mostly call him by his full name and sometimes “Miah” which I think is sweet but some may think is girly.

    • So beautiful name
      Thank Of God ?

  5. Biblical name for our times.

  6. All of my children have biblical names so it was easy to find a name but this Nehemiah we just feel in love with i also have a Heaven a Faith and Israel

  7. It was really easy to come up with my son name i wanted him to have a unique name that fit in with his siblings my oldest is name Heaven second oldest is name Faith and my first born son is name Israel so we decided on Nehemiah and everyone loves it as much as us
