  1. My husband liked the several guys he’s known named Al/Albert and I liked that it meant bright one.

  2. Nice Name

  3. Me and my partner literally could not agree on a name for our baby boy, it was getting on for 2wks and he was in special care in hospital he was called Baby Wade, he deserved a name. One evening I said to his Dad “I suppose you like something trendy like Albie?” He said he loved it, I pulled a face then he said ” it’s short for Albert” I fell in love with the name there and then. His Dad calls him Albert mostly some people call him Albie and we used to call him Bertie, when he was 2 he could say Bertie it was so cute. Hes 3 now and lots of people say how they love his name, the older generation often say my Dad/Grandad was called Albert.

  4. We named our son Albert Leroy after his Late Grandpa. Albert is a strong name for a boy.
Albert is 6 years old today. And he loves life

  5. I liked Albert because of how versatile it is and how many nicknames it has, particularly Albie which is cute for a baby but is also an older character’s name in the Hustle program. Also bert, Bertie, Al so whatever he likes or whatever he suited when he arrived. I also like the Victoria series so like the name Albert from that.
Hi middle name is George so very regal, so much so weve actually nicknamed him ‘king’. He is mostly albie and albert, his nanna calls him little albs or albiekins and his Scottish family call him wee bert. I like them all. Very pleased with his name choice.

  6. My 3 year old was adamant that we name him Albert!
