  1. My husband and I found out we were having a third boy and could not agree on a name. We liked the name Bo and also Owen. We discovered Bowen was a real name and liked that it meant youngest son. My son now 14 really likes his very unique name. We also like the Celtic and Welsh connection to the name.

  2. We loved the sound of it and it pairs well with our other son’s name (Beckett).

  3. My husband and I talked about baby names for years. We could never agree on one, even when we found out we were having a boy! I was 8 months pregnant with my son and getting worried that we were running out of time to pick a name. Then, one day, my husband randomly texted me and offered the name, “Bowen”. I immediately fell in love with it. It was a perfect choice for our little boy!

  4. Beautiful to learn more about my last name.

  5. My husband loved the name Bowen from the day we found out! We both agreed we wanted a name that we could have a cute nickname with and we both liked Bo but I didn’t really like “Bowen” but he pushed from day one and it finally grew on me and I caved ???? Now I couldn’t imagine our son having a different name.
