  1. Kate Beckett was my favorite character from the show CASTLE. Passed it onto my son and daughter-in-law and my first Grandson’s name is Beckett!

  2. Heard it for the first time in Walker Hayes song “Beckett” about his 4-year-old (at the time), son. It was so cute and we loved Beckett! Such a strong sounding name!

  3. My husband has loved this name forever. He told me about it on our first date. It stems from his favorite baseball player, Josh Beckett. When we got pregnant, we just knew that if we had a son, his name would be Beckett!

  4. Relatively uncommon and not a name you hear often, but not too “out there”. I like for my kids to not have to worry about having 6 other kids with the same name in their school, but also have a name people can spell or say without getting weird looks!

  5. Beckett is my wife’s grandmother’s maiden name. We fell in love with the name before he was even conceived. Beckett also means “bee cottage” which makes the name 1,000 better. ?

  6. It seems like a good combination of unique enough to not be too commonplace while not being too challenging for people to spell or pronounce. I also like the option of Beck as a nickname.

  7. We couldn’t agree on a name that both of us liked besides this one. My husband chose it because it’s a crane part & he’s a tower crane operator lol. I chose it because I like it & it’s unique!

  8. We saw it on Babyberry and both loved it! We love the sound and how uncommon it is.

  9. We had narrowed it down to Harrison, Lachlan or Beckett. It wasn’t until he came out that we settled on his name!

    • Good choice – from a boy named beckett
