  1. My husband and I were ‘Team Green’ this pregnancy and had the hardest time picking out boys names. I liked more Biblical names and my husband liked more classic names. Finally we came to an agreement on Bryan Edward if we had a son. While not Biblical, it honors both of our fathers–my Dad’s name is Bryan and his Dad’s name is Edward. It fits our little man perfectly and it made my Dad cry–something I’ve only seen him do three times in my life –when we told him the name.

  2. We named him after my Dad. My dad has always been there for me even in the hardest times of my life. He had every right to turned his back in me when I was younger but he never did no matter how difficult I was.

  3. We chose a family name with a different spelling.

  4. I chose his name in honor of my departed Uncle. I was his shadow growing up and I wanted a name with strong meaning. I love the names meaning. And being that my son is the first boy born since my uncles passing I felt the name would be fitting.

  5. Bryan is my maiden name and there are no boys to carry it on so we gave the name to our son. His middle name is also a family name on my husbands side so it feels very special to us. We initially had a hard time deciding because Bryan isn’t really a baby name but decided he will be a child/adult much longer than the baby stage. It turns out, Bryan fits him as a baby too!

  6. I named my son after his dad he passed away in june

  7. His father named him
