  1. I have no idea why really. It was the one boy name that really felt right to me. I looked through a good amount of lists and nothing else stuck. My husband and I could not really agree and he was not able to make the birth so rather than over think it I chose the name I liked most

  2. We live in the Clark Fork River region of Montana. Clark has a common spelling (important to us), simple to pronounce (also important), yet it’s not a very common name. We have received many compliments on the name so far!

  3. We decided on the first name Clark for if our child was a boy (we wanted to be surprised by the gender and had names picked for if baby was a boy or a girl). The inspiration for the name came from my husband’s grandmother’s maiden name – Clarke; we loved it! The sweetest and craziest part was that our baby boy just so happened to be born on her birthday!
His middle name, Montgomery, was inspired by my great grandmother Monty (short for Montrose). And he shares the same initials CMW with my husband and my father in law 🙂

  4. Inspired from the tv show Lois and Clark. We like that it is classic and masculine but not overly popular.

  5. I picked Clark because his dads middle name is Clark. We both thought it was cute and we are excited to have him as he is our first little baby! #newparents

  6. We wanted something short and sweet for all our boys, we had twins first, Bruce and Scott. Then Colby and our lastest are Clark. All of our boys have pretty long middle names eg. Bruce Wallace, Scott Alexander, Colby
    Anderson and Clark Cameron.

  7. Clark is my mom’s maiden name and she has no brothers. We like the name because it is strong and will sound good as an adult. I’m not a huge fan of how “grumpy grandpa” it sounds, but my little boy is a ray of sunshine so he makes it a cheery name.
