  1. Enoch was a name given to us by God, Enoch was a great prophet in the Bible who love the Lord so much that he did not see death but God took him instead.
As a believer, names are not just anything we pronounced on children, is has a biblical representation.

  2. While asking God for a name for my daughter, HR gave me Majesty, and the name Enoch followed almost immediately, the I knew my next child will be a male & his name ? shall be Enoch. I loved d name so passionately

  3. I’ve always loved the story of Enoch in the Bible and how faithful he was despite being all alone.

  4. ?

  5. Enoch is my grandpas name ! Growing up I always loved it because it was unique and my grandpa is the sweetest man ever! I’m expecting my first child and I originally had a different name in mind. Unfortunately two of my friends found out they were pregnant and decided to go with the name I was thinking of.

Anyways I decided to go it’s Enoch. It’s a beautiful name with an amazing meaning. I pray my son loves it as much as I do.

  6. “In Genesis, Enoch was credited for walking faithfully with God. The name in Hebrew itself means dedicated.” ?

  7. God gave my husband the name Enoch so when it was a boy we knew it was meant to be!

We’ll call him “Knox” for short.

  8. We originally had another name picked, but a couple of months before my due date the name “Enoch” kept stirring in my spirit. This was after, on a whim, I’d started looking at biblical boys names again. Enoch is a man in the bible who walked so closely with God that he didn’t have to face death. That’s how much he pleased Him! The name Enoch is Hebrew and means “dedicated (or consecrated) to God” and it’s the perfect name to represent how I plan to raise our son, dedicated right back to The One who blessed us with him.

“By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” – Hebrews? ?11:5? ?NKJV

  9. Love the meaning of it. Devote to God. And that it is not a very common name

  10. Enoch means dedicated in Hebrew. This is my fourth child’s (second son’s) name. My husband loves the book of Enoch and has been asking for years to name our son this. I was not fond of the nick name “Nucky” that is typically used for Enoch, but I have grown fond of it since we had out son.
