  1. Floyd came from pink Floyd for us, my favorite band. We love the uniqueness and simplicity of the name and although there isn’t a great nickname for it, we can live with that. It’s easy to pronounce in multiple languages which was also an important deciding point for us.

  2. We chose the name Floyd because it’s short and sweet and Pink Floyd is my all-time favorite band. We also live in Germany and it’s easily spoken in both German and English.
