My husband suggested some names like Forester and Foster, which I liked, till I realized that they ended in that “ER” sound. So that made my search even harder, we were now looking for a last name that we could use as a name starting with F that didn’t end in an “ER” sound, which is harder than you would think. In the end, it came down to Finley or Ford. I liked Ford a little better and so did my husband.
