  1. I had a really hard time finding a boy name when I found out I was having a boy.
Either they were wax to common or strange.
My 9 year old daughter found the name Kian and I loved it.
So she named her baby brother. ?

  2. My husband and I wanted a simple, yet meaningful name. Kian is a boy’s name meaning “ancient” or “God is gracious”. It is a variant of the Gaelic name Cian and the Irish – which my husband is Irish. As it turns out, Kian is also a Persian name meaning “benevolent king” and an Arabic name meaning “soul, essence.” We love the versatility.

  3. Starts with K
Persian meaning of Kisn is “king”

  4. Kian means God is Gracious, which makes it an even more beautiful name. It rolls right off the tongue and can go well with any middle name. Kian and Kieran would make cute twin names. Kian is definitely on the top of my favorite boy names!

  5. I wanted something with a meaning. I chose Kian because it means grace of god. I love his name it’s nothing I dislike about it.

  6. We didn’t know our babe’s name until he was born. We tossed around a few but we knew we wouldn’t know until we got to meet him. Two weeks before he was born, our daughter’s gym teacher wanted to help us with some ideas and she threw out Kian (Kee-Un). My husband and I both liked it right away but didn’t fully commit to it until we saw his face. Kian means Grace of God. His middle name is James because it’s just a nice name and went well with all the first names we liked.

  7. I just liked it.

  8. We like that it’s unique and short and sounds nice
